At Green Oaks Landscaping, all work is planned, scheduled and resourced in advance. This policy outlines how cancellations and refunds are handled.
1. Deposits
A deposit is required to secure your booking, materials and scheduling.
- Deposits are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed
- This is because materials may be ordered and time allocated specifically to your project
2. Cancellations
Before work starts:
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the start date may be eligible for a partial refund at our discretion, minus any costs already incurred (e.g. materials, design work, admin time)
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date are non-refundable
After work has started:
- Once work has commenced, no refunds will be issued for completed work
- Any outstanding balance for work already carried out will remain payable
3. Materials
- Materials purchased specifically for your project are non-refundable
- If materials have already been ordered or delivered, these costs will be deducted from any agreed refund
4. Changes to Scope
If you request changes after work has been agreed:
- Additional costs may apply
- Any reduction in scope does not automatically entitle a refund for removed elements once materials or labour have been committed
5. Delays Outside Our Control
We are not liable for delays caused by:
- Weather conditions
- Supplier delays
- Site access issues or unforeseen ground conditions
Refunds will not be issued due to these delays, but we will always communicate and reschedule where necessary
6. Satisfaction & Issues
If you are unhappy with any aspect of the work:
- You must notify us within 48 hours of completion
- We will be given the opportunity to inspect and rectify any genuine issues
Refunds will only be considered if:
- We are unable to resolve the issue, and
- The concern is deemed valid and within the agreed scope of work
7. Custom & Bespoke Work
All landscaping work is custom and made-to-measure, including:
- Resin surfaces
- Patios and pathways
- Fencing installations
As such, these works are non-refundable once completed, except in cases of proven fault or defect
8. Payment Disputes
Any disputes must be raised in writing. We reserve the right to:
- Suspend ongoing work
- Recover outstanding balances for completed work
